The building houses a canteen serving as a recreational center for servicemen, which accounts for the lineup to enter. Unfortunately, it was some distance from the our airfield, we could not avail ourselves to its amenities. Our trip on this occasion was to view the nearby Roman ruins at the town of Djem.
